The Summarizer Contract
The AI summarizer operates under a strict contract:
- MAY summarize the evidence presented in signals
- MUST NOT infer intent, truth claims, or manufactured consensus
Required Outputs
Every summary must include:
- confidence - How certain the model is about the summary
- coordination_likelihood - Estimated probability of coordinated behavior
- counter_evidence - Any signals that contradict the main narrative
Why Constraints Matter
Without constraints, AI summarizers can inadvertently amplify coordinated narratives by presenting them as consensus. The contract ensures that summaries describe what signals claim, not what is "true."
