Signal Scoring

Semeion computes four independent scores for each signal:

Reliability

Source reliability (0-1) based on account history, verification level, and historical patterns.

Organic Activity

Measures whether a signal is spreading naturally or appears coordinated (displayed as 1 - coordination risk). High means organic/grassroots, low means suspicious patterns. Factors include timing bursts, semantic similarity, and cross-channel spread.

Novelty

How unique is this information relative to what's already in the narrative cluster? High means a novel signal, low means repeated content. Decays as cluster grows.

Outcome Evidence

Attributable analyst attestations after an external outcome is observable. The score is neutral until sufficient review exists; passive engagement and Semeion's own decisions do not validate the narrative.

Signal Quality

Weighted composite of all factors above. Weights are configurable.
